Când interlopii apucă pe calea războiului, viața asasinilor plătiți prosperă. Două familii mafiote reiau calea sângelui după trei ani de pace. Și cum să facă asta mai ușor altfel decât cu ajutorul asasinilor plătiți. Ray Carver, plătit să "repare" problema celor două familii interlope pragheze, cea a Tavianilor și cea a Suverovilor, acceptă deoarece se suprapune cu o veche problemă nerezolvată - fata uneia dintre fostele lui ținte, este la Praga și el e hotărât să-i ofere protecție ca plată pentru uciderea tatălui ei și pentru faptul că a fost reticent să o omoare și pe ea. Situația se complică atunci când una din țintele sale din clanul Tavianilor reușește să scape și amenință pe Suverovi, iar aceștia angajează un alt asasin, numit "Lupul"- Aleksey Andreev - să ducă treaba la bun sfârșit. Lupta dintre familiile mafiote devine o luptă între cei doi asasini, dar cum pentru cei doi totul se rezumă la bani, fac în așa fel încât să iasă cu bine din conflicul creat.
